In First Signal General Reager informs the President of the United States that an alien satellite has been discovered parked at Lagrange Point 2. This is the same position in space that the famed James Webb Telescope is positioned. Last week a report from NASA stated that there is no evidence of extraterrestrials for “UAP sightings.” However, they concede that “…we don’t know what these UAP are.”
When one considers the flurry of UFO/UAP sightings, committee hearings, reports and other matters on this subject, it’s a foregone conclusion that in a good number of instances they (NASA, et al) have no idea what some of these sightings are. One can also safely and rationally assume that if extraterrestrials have visited Earth, they will no doubt possess some technology that makes them near invisible to detection and therefore explanation. In First Signal, both their transportation methods and, in Cedric Yonah’s case, clothing feature technology that renders conclusive identification next to impossible.

Frankly, I have to wonder if anyone believes what the government does or doesn’t say on this subject. For this subject cannot be controlled by any government. I believe that is the true worry as the government can’t protect on matters of space. If an alien presence wants to reveal themselves, I hardly think they’ll ask permission from The White House, Number 10 or The United Nations. However, what I do believe, is that whoever or whatever they are, have been observing Earth for centuries and more than likely have visited—and stayed. That would most certainly explain a host of past and present evidence, experiences, and imagery.

Early last week I finished another round of edits on SOS United States. Until an editor is brought on board, I feel this is as far as I can take the manuscript. As a writer, it’s very easy to question and overanalyze a story whether it be a book, screenplay, or other creative medium. It’s always best to have a disinterested person(s) look at the work with an experienced unbiased fresh set of eyes.
While I continue to pitch the project to literary agents, I have started to look at publishers that accept submissions along with certain self-publishing companies. I look at this in the same way as I do independent filmmaking. In that world, a screenplay can be picked up by a studio or production company or can be produced independently. No matter the route, it will reach the consumer market.
On a closing note, I visited the Worcester Art Museum last weekend. If you are ever in the Worcester area, I highly recommend this gem of art west of Boston. I fondly remember taking art classes there in my early days.
Be creative.
